This website has been created to act as an online portfolio in order that I may display my qualifications, online works and achievements.
I like to design. I like to draw. I love my graphics tablet and Adobe Illustrator I could not live without. I love flicking through magazines for ideas and I love inspirational photography. I also scrapbook. It's not sad. Just means I like my memories.
Currently seeking full-time employment in the Staffordshire/West Midlands area working in Web / Multimedia Design/Development. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you are aware of a suitable role.

Digestive system diagram
a diagram originally produced as a part of my Final Year Project at University. Created using a graphics tablet and Adobe Illustrator.
Organisational Structure Chart created as a part of a job assessment. The requirements were to come up with an original design for a three-tier organisational structure chart. Again, created using a mixture of both Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
Shopping Centre Map produced as part of a third year interactive map assignment created using XML for a University Project. Adobe Illustrator.

Horse quiz
Very basic quiz created using Adobe Flash for a second year project at University. The user must type in the marking displayed using images of horses.
Colour in a picnic
Towards Final Year Project at University. A 'colouring book' style page.
Recycling game
More advanced actionscript used. The user must drag and drop the items into the correct recycling bin.
Plant a tree
Simple graphical flash file.
Director quiz game
Basic quiz created using Macromedia Director. Points scored or lost depending on answer of questions. Originally hooked upto an XML file in order to store high scores achieved.

Accommodation This was a second year project to be completed as a group of two, producing
(using Macromedia Director or similar) an informative, interactive application.
Working with Richard Walker, we created an application advertising the
University Beaconside halls. Photographs were taken ourselves, and information
thoroughly researched before undertaking the project in its development stage.

Horse Wise Horse Wise was an individual first year project undertaken at University within
the subject 'Web Design' with the brief to create a website on a hobby for the
younger child using hand-coded HTML and a photo editing program. I received

Horse Wise (Multimedia Version) Horse Wise was a second year project undertaken at University in the module 'Web
Multimedia' taken in groups of two whereby an educational site had to be
designed with both a flash and non-flash version. I was in charge of the flash
version and received 14/15 for my contribution towards this assignment. Visit Website

Environmental Nightmare! Environmental Nightmare! was a third year project at University taken in groups
of two for the module 'Advanced Web Multimedia'. Elements of interactivity and
high media content were looked at as well as usability in depth and a strong

Norfolk Property Locator a site created for a local
business using a database to store a large number of business details. These
details can be pulled from the database using a search facility within the
website. Also created was a back-end system providing the client to easily

James Bell: Documentary Photography (Currently awaiting more content from client) a site produced for a local
photographer displaying some of his best work with the use of JavaScript to aid

Gable Cottage Holiday Home Gable Cottage is a five-page static website advertising a local holiday home
located in North Norfolk. The summary was to create a bold, eye-catching sight
making full use of the photographs available. Research was undertaken also for
